Waconia Middle School Pep BandPep band at the middle school is set up to be a fun and rewarding musical experience for band students at all levels. All pep band events will coincide with high school varsity games. Rehearsal and performance schedule for the 2026-2027 season will come out by October! More to come! All pep band practices will take place in the Middle school band room right after school from 3:15 - 4:15pm - Music will be provided. At every event, the band will perform pre game through the first half of each game. Participating in the Twin Cities Soccer League (TCSL), players train and/or play in multiple dates per week and for competitions travel to other club facilities around the twin cities based on league placement and team skill level. 2026 Waconia Wildcats BigWest Spring/Summer Softball Season Information 10U & 12U Register by December 10, 2026 This is a competitive, skills based traveling league and an evaluation is used. There is a risk that cuts will be made, and no player is guaranteed a spot on any team regardless of team placement in previous leagues/seasons. For those who wish to skip the evaluation process and have equal playing time please register and play in our recreation league next spring/summer. Commitment is necessary to participate in this league! We expect participants to attend 90-100% of all practices and games please. 10U-12U play in the Big West Softball league, 2 local MN/Western WI tournaments in May/June, State Qualifiers tournament & potentially State Tournament if they advance. Please visit MNSoftball.com for updated weekend dates for the Qualifiers and State tournament for 2026. **PLEASE KEEP YOUR MAY/JUNE/JULY weekends available until your coach indicates what weekends you'll have tournaments, likely around mid Feb. Sunday evening practices seem to be a popular selection by coaches once games get going. Practices will be 1-2 times a week, pending game and tournament schedules for that particular team weekly. PLAYER AVAILABILITY FOR SUMMER: Participants should make themselves AVAILABLE for ALL June weekends until they know their tournament schedule, likely finalized March 2027. It introduces kids to basic sports skills in a fun, supportive environment while encouraging inclusion and teamwork. It’s a great way for young children to get involved in the Special Olympics community and build confidence through play. Special Olympics Minnesota Young Athletes is offered at no cost to the community. The registration fee helps support Community Education registration and use of the facility.
