5th Grade Beginning Band Startup Camp  

Bands will have their annual Beginning Band Camp. This 3-Day camp is the beginning of instruction for 5th Grade Band. ALL first year Band Students should attend this camp.  Students will receive a one-hour class in like-instrument groups each day for 3 days. District 110 Band Directors will teach each class, assisted by WHS Band Students.  Students will learn how to assemble and care for their instruments, correctly hold the instrument, produce a characteristic sound, and play several notes.  At the end of the camp, students will be able to take their instruments home and practice to be ready for Band when school starts.  If your student does not have an instrument lined up yet, please contact Mr. Esterberg (jesterberg@isd110.org) so the can help you do that!

Led by Mrs, Mottaz, Mr. Snyder, Mr. Hansberry & Mr. Esterberg Register by July 30.
