Waconia Middle School Jazz BandGRADE 6-8 (2026-2027) All WMS Jazz bands will be open to all current 6-8 grade band students. Auditions / sign-ups will take place in October and bands begin rehearsals in November. Links for registration will be on band Schoology pages in late September/early October. Waconia Middle School Pep BandPep band at the middle school is set up to be a fun and rewarding musical experience for band students at all levels. All pep band events will coincide with high school varsity games. Rehearsal and performance schedule for the 2026-2027 season will come out by October! More to come! Dates - Pep band practices and performs during December and January - Our exact schedule will be published in October. All pep band practices will take place in the Middle school band room right after school from 3:15 - 4:15pm - Music will be provided. At every event, the band will perform pre game through the first half of each game. (usually around 8:00pm) Students are welcome to stay and watch the end of the game or can be picked up after half time. Every WMS band student is eligible to participate in middle school pep band. There is no audition, however students are expected to attend after school rehearsals / communicate any schedule conflicts. Email Mr. Snyder psnyder@isd110.org for questions. Waconia Youth Choir 4th & 5th Grade (2026-2027) Calling all 4th & 5th Graders who like to sing... join the Waconia Youth Choir! Rehearsals will be once per week after school with a final performance on January 26th. All students receive a t-shirt for the performance to keep.
