6th Grade Recreation Volleyball

Girls Volleyball
Registration deadline Wednesday, July 15. $10 late fee after deadline if there is space available.
A deposit for the volleyball jersey is included in the fee. Upon the return of the jersey when the season has ended, you will receive a $15 credit on your account. If it is not returned to the CE office by November 13 we can no longer credit your account $15. Please purchase solid black volleyball shorts/leggings for your participant. Many participants choose to wear black spandex, however, any style of shorts or leggings work to participate. Sorry, we cannot offer a refund after the coaches meeting has been held. Practices to be held at Waconia Schools TBD. Grades are based on the grade your child will enter in the 2026-27 school year.
Player Review & Evaluation
Followed by Coaches Meeting
Tuesday, August 18th at WMS Gym 

Volunteer coaches needed: 1-3 per team
Coaches will need to be present at the player review and draft. The player review is a practice in which the coaches evaluate the players to divide the teams up equally.

Grades 5-6 5:30-6:30 pm
Followed by coaches meeting until 7 pm

Friend requests for this league may or may not happen because of the nature of the player review. Please note at the time of registration if your participant has conflicts with other fall activities that take place on Tue/Thur/Sat.

Days of Play: Saturdays August 29th-October 24th (Skip September 5th, September 19th, October 17th)

Practice Tue & Thur,
Tuesday/Thursday August 20th-October 29th (Skip September 3rd, October 13th, October 15th) Between 5:30-8pm

Photo Day: Tue, Aug 27 

$110, plus a $30 deposit for volleyball jersey top
Jersey return deadline Nov 13.
 
Year end Tournament | Saturday, October 31st
 
Game Locations: Teams could travel to, Lester Prairie,
New Prague, NYA, Cologne, DC, HLWW, Orono, Hutchinson, Annandale and Glencoe. There may
be other communities added as well.
